On June 18, the signing ceremony for the comprehensive deepening of strategic cooperation between GAC Group and Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group was held. Jiang Zhitao, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou, Liang Lingfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangzhou SASAC, and Zhang Haibo, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau, attended the ceremony. Zeng Qinghong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of GAC Group, and Luo Junfu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group delivered speeches and signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Wang Dan, Chief Accountant of GAC Group, Xia Xianqing, Vice President of GAC Group, the entire leadership team of Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group, relevant representatives of the two enterprises and media journalists attended the ceremony.

 

 

Under the guidance of Guangzhou SASAC, the two enterprises give full play to their own strength to deepen and expand cooperation. In the future, they will strengthen cooperation in areas such as talent training, industry chain layout, scientific and technological innovation, as well as green and low-carbon transformation of the auto industry.

In recent years, GAC Group, as the industrial chain master of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle (ICNEV), has invested and incubated multiple high-tech enterprises, and is fully unleashing the innovation vitality and enthusiasm of the invested enterprises through capital empowerment to speed up technological transformation. Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group has been fully involved in projects such as GAC private placement, AION's mixed-ownership reform and ONTIME’s financing. It has also set up a 10-billion-level fund for intelligent connected vehicles with GAC Group and Bank of China. Following the development trend of new energy and smart vehicles, the two enterprises are promoting a number of cooperation projects such as the Southern (Shaoguan) Proving Ground with mixed-ownership reform, establishing a solid foundation for cooperation.
